    Default Fiskar Rotary Cutter

I was thinking it might have been an issue with my specific cutter, so I went and bought another one just like it. Once I change the blade, I have the same problem. I have been very careful when taking it apart to make sure I'm putting it back together correctly. Has anyone else had a problem?
You have the screw put in the wrong side. Go on line to look at your cutter. See if it resembles the pic. I was having the same problem. I went to order a different brand. As I was looking I noticed I reassembled mine incorrectly after replacing the blade.

This is how to get it replaced for free. Here's the link for customer service.

Scan a pic of the cutter. Tell them what's wrong. I've had problems with cutters and they sent me replacements free of charge. In fact I've done it at least 3 times. Dropped a ruler and a corner was snapped off...replace FoC. Small rotating mat...ened up with grooves...replace FoC Takes a while but worth the wait.

I no longer use Fiskar and have switched over to Quilter Select. QS has a nice heavy handle and perfect cuts every time.

I did not know this, thanks.
I have been using Olfa for a few years now, with easy change, retractable blade. My first was a Fiskar with a button that you pressed the blade open . Well went I would try to bare down to cut, the blade wouldn’t stay locked open and retract. I got tired of that and changed to Olfa. Maybe they will fix mine. It’s a 60mm and I now use an Olfa 45. I did like the big one for cutting fleece.
