    The sharpeners are ‘sticky’ at first. They will work themselves to fit your scissors. I use mine before every project...and it works great. Just lightly close the blades in the sharpener, do not use a lot of pressure

    I use the Fiskars scissor sharpener all the time on all of my scissors. I even bought one for our church office. I love it.

    Thanks for all your replies. I think Rob is correct, as my 'cheaper' scissors have an almost 90 dgree angle on the blade and the sharpener seems to be for the more angled ones. I used a fine grinding stone by hand and they are back to normal.
