Karen they label ALl kiddie fabrics with that label, has to do with what the government said they have to.. doesnt mean you cant wear cotton PJs. I prefer nice clean cotton well washed and without extra chemicals also...

Those chemicals are nasty, wash out eventually anyway. Even kids' clothing retailers can sell non treated pjs, if they are designed to be tight fitting. So make them pjs out of whatever you want (except oil soaked rags) and make sure there is a working smoke and CO detector near their room and a fire extinguisher and fire safety plan in place.
