    Didn't wash my flannels and the raggedy quilts are all just fine. Have made several. They wash up great and are our favorites.

    Why make extra work.... :-)

    I don't prewash for my rag quilts. I didn't have any problems with them shrinking differently.

    I wash every thing as it comes in my house especially flannel. My rag quilt ragged great.
