Flannel Quilts
#1
Ok, does anyone make flannel quilts? I don't mean now, now that warm weather is here, but other times.
The second quilt I ever made was flannel and I have made three more since then. But I don't see many pictures of finished flannel quilts on the forum, so just wondering is this something that most don't make.
I know in WI, they come in handy and I also like putting flannel backing on a cotton front. Helps prevent slipping off the bed and alittle more cozy.

I like to back baby quilts with flannel. Even in SC babies need to be cozy especially in A/C.
I have never made a rag quilt but have been collecting flannel for one. I have a drawer full of men's shirts, etc from the thrift store. Probably enough for two or three quilts!! I love 'stashing'.
Thanks to QB I know how to make one, now!!

I have made 2 twin size flannel quilts plus one flannel rag
quilt. Love them. I use my walking foot to piece them &
would recommend using 1/2 inch seams, rather than 1/4 inch.
Guess how I know this?
