I ordered flannel from Hancock's Paducah and it is great. Purchased on sale and the price was very good. It is RJR. Thank you for your help.

I was recently looking for some white flannel to use as sashing in my first flannel quilt. The flannel prints I was using were from Valori Wells, and were wonderful quality. The first white flannel I bought (at Fabric.com) was inexpensive, which in retrospect should have been a clue. After I cut it and started working with the white and prints together, I realized what a poor quality the white was, and decided I shouldn't use them together. I then looked at several other places, but by that time, I was somewhat nervous about buying more flannel, in case it would also be poor quality. I finally ended up at one of my favorite on-line stores, Hawthorne Threads; they had a white flannel from Cloud 9, and it is superb (it was about 3x the cost of the first, and feels 3x thicker).

I've used Moda flannel and thought it was simply wonderful. Nice, thick flannel, no excess lint or other issues. I'm a pre-washer anyhow but did not notice any excessive shrinkage either. Would buy Moda flannel again in a heartbeat.

I just received my order of Woolies Flannel by Maywood and Moda Wool & Needle Flannel by Primitive Gatherings. I love them both - nice and thick and oh so soft!
