In the future (hopefully the near future!), I would like to make some "flimsies"--unquilted quilt tops. I am not interested in quilting them, so I am wondering if there are charitable organizations interested in these.
Thanks for you help.

Anyone doing donation quilts would love to have them. Lots of people on this board. I'm not sure the Project Linus accepts partially completed quilts or not. Someone else might have other suggestions. If not, I do alot of Project Linus quilts as well as Downey quilts for kids. There are always people sewing quilts for those unfortunate. You will get lots of replies to this post! :):)

ChecK with your local quilt shop. Ours has an annual quilt-a-thon. A couple of months before the event, they start soliciting pre cut strips and unquilted tops. Check with your local quilt shop. Also, you could post them on this board. There are lots of folks who make charity quilts.

I'm a Project Linus Coordinator, and I receive quilt tops. I'm unable to use them all, and I have offered them here on the board to those who make charity quilts. Many generous board members requested the tops, and offered to make them into quilts, and donate them. I was so pleased!

You can go on line & find nearest Quilts of Valor coordinator to you.
Our quilt group in NW Montana maked QOV tops and there are several people near the Montana coordinator who then quilted the tops w/ donated supplies.
