I have reservations at Baymont Inn in Metropolis for Paducah Quilt Show. I have heard that Harrah's is closed due to flood. Can anyone give me updated conditions. Should I cancel reservations?

http://localxoo.com/kentucky/2011/04...le-for-region. I would still call the hotel. I dont think that hotel is in a low lying area but I could be wrong. (I live in Paducah).

I talked to my aunt who lives in Metropolis. She said the water is up to Second Street, which means at the least the parking lot of the Baymont is covered in water. I think the Baymont is near the casino.

I talked to hotel. They have one entrance open at this time. Will probably cancel there and try to find a room in Paducah. Probable lots of cancellations.
