    I think the addition of the appliqué adds so much to the quilt, and I would definitely go with it, just as you have it.

    Love the flower appliqué'.....after it's quilted, u won't really notice darker green stems! You did this beautifully.

    I liked the quilt before you added the flowers and vines and I like the addition of they appliques, but I agree with the few others who said they are too big, maybe too bold. The center of the quilt is amazing and the large flower distracts from the delicate lacey center to me.
