    I think the green looks great. My hat off to you for using what you have. I think that green works because it is not a solid.

    I like the idea of the applique, but I'm still in the corner of using hexies for the flowers instead of the flower shapes.

    I am not accomplished, but my eye KNOWS what it likes . . . and this is beautiful! After seeing the mention of a green that more closely matched the green in the body of the quilt, I agree with that . . . as to changing the shape of the flowers etc. I like the ones, colors etc. that you've chosen. Just my opinion . . . This is gonna be a "looker" when complete . . . please remember to show us!

    I love the flower border. It brings the quilt to life by definitely drawing the eye across it. The pink flower brings out the small pink inner border as well. I would go ahead with it just as you have it now. Beautiful job !
