I would like to purchase the FMQ foot and Walking foot for my Singer 301 slant needle. It seems a lot of the feet don't fit on the 301. I would like to ensure that what I purchase will fit on my machine. Can anyone tell me which ones will fit my machine? Any help is appreciated :!:

    Thanks

Try this resource: http://shop.sew-classic.com/main.sc This site sells attachments for Singer slant shank, short shank, etc.

Thank you. The two feet that I am looking for are out of stock. I will keep watching them to see when they are in stock.

I have both feet for my slants.
What foot fits the 401A will fit your 301A because I interchange feet on both my machines.

Order this foot for free motion quilting from sewclassics or from Ebay (the more expensive one, not the less cost efficient $4.97 or $5.00)
Slant shank daring free-motion foot- all metal with clear, marked base. Fits Singer 401, 403, 404, 500, 503, and the Singer 301. (401A, 403A, 500A, 301A, etc.) Click for more details.

The clear base is marked with a grid for precise spacing of stitches.

    You will love it's performance.

My LQS has a supply of slant needle feet, but I prefer the ones from April1930s Shoppe. Better quality, free shipping and fast service. I have the darning foot for FMQ (my instructor at the quilt store liked it better than theirs, too), and a quarter inch foot. I also purchased bobbins and a new tire for the bobbin winder.

Thank you Irishrose & cctx. I have ordered the FMQ foot from April1930's. They are a wealth of knowledge. I am waiting from a response from them on the even feed foot. This seems to be more of an issue with the 301's.

    Happy Quilting!

I wasn't aware that there was a walking foot available for the 301 except the vintage one April has listed for $600. My Elna has a Janome walking foot, so I'm covered there. Keep us posted.
