    I have a Janome 6600P also (and LOVE it). I don't have the darning foot tho. Is that what it is actually called - a "big foot" - so I know what I need to order. Any suggestions on where to order.

    There is one style of darning/FMQ foot that is actually called "The Big Foot", others are not. That particular one has a bigger "base" than most. I found mine on eBay, but check with your dealer for one specific to your machine.
