Can I ever! I have concluded that when I work on any quilt, I should write down every brand of everything I use and where I got it, the exact colors of all the thread, even the batting and where I got it. I have an awful memory and I'm always getting new ideas that I want to try as I quilt along. I guess I have no discipline either!!!!! Good luck in finding the right thread, but I know where you are coming from and it's really frustrating!

My first FMQ quilt has 3 different threads in it: Gutterman Cotton, Gutterman Poly, and Connecting Threads Essential. I kept running out! If you look close you can tell which is Essential, but only if you know you are looking for it.
