    Default Folded corners rulers

I've been seeing rulers that are for folded corners and wonder how you use them. Seems to me that you'd not get a crisp corner with them. Does anyone use that kind of ruler?

Goodness, i've made it 30 years without those rulers. Guess I don't need them either.

    wow!
that's right up there with the mallet for flattening seams and "that purple thang."

you can do the same thing with any half-square triangle ruler.

Gosh, I love my folded corner ruler, I use it all the time for binding, mitering my borders, snowballed corners, it has the built in quarter inch makes life so much easier. I also confess that I am a ruler addict and my pegboard would give any local quilt shop a run for their money!

With the one I have, you have to change how you cut out your pieces to be able to use it. So, no, I don't like it.

I have the 5” Creative Grids Folded Corner and use it all the time. I use it for binding strips just sew 1/4 inch and no trimming. It makes folded corners for me exact and faster. No more dog ears. That’s just my opinion.

I have the CG Folded corner ruler and like using it. Do I need it to make folded corners? No but at my age what I want now takes priority over the thought do I need it.

seems there are a number of folded corner rulers. I am familiar with the doug Leko one. I like the idea of instead of not having to draw a line on the square for snowballing and having the dog ears already trimmed off.
