Some of mine have a smaller center so when I want to display them with a candle I use a small footed dish (like am ice cream bowl) and sit the candle in it. I think this is a safer way if I am going to light the candle anyway.

This is what I was trying to explain. I bought some plastic wine glasses that pull apart the stem from the top of the glass. I made this for the POM swap. Since it was going in the mail I wanted plastic so it wouldn't break. But you can get the idea of using something besides a wide candle. I filled it with candy and covered it with tulle. It is only about 9 or 10 inches wide. Hope this helps.

Thank You. I made this using hexigons instead of squares.... The pattern was a $8 pattern from Poor House. called Fold'n stitch blooms.

When I made mine I deliberately made it without a hole in the centre. It sits proudly on my table without a candle and is admired by all who see it. So give it to the person who it was intended for to enjoy.
