AM I daft? (OK, don't answer that - lol) But isn't it simply a foundation method?

it looks like a lot of lint and dust would get into those folds. is it easy to keep clean?

There is a new video (that I made) of Donna Poster starting the "Foldy Stuff" process, as well as discussing its origins and showing some samples of what can be made with it. The sewing part has a direct angle on the machine and a reverse angle, so it's easy to see what Donna is up to as she's sewing.

Go here to see the video: http://vimeo.com/35897054

I'll look back here to see if it was helpful for anyone.

Here is a link to a video I made of Donna Poster and her "Foldy Stuff" techniques. It is very clear how she is piecing, folding, and sewing in the video and I hope it makes the process crystal clear.
