    I saw the original post and frankly this looks great finished the way you went. it makes people pay more attention to the quilting design too! so be it! quilters don't mind!

    I love your quilting - The quilt is a really nice modern quilt and I'm really not into modern - I'm one of the quilters who stick to traditional quilts. I'm just more comfortable with them. That said, I think you've done a very fine job on your quilt! Way to go!

    Sometime when we do the predictable, quilts are not as interesting. I like how the variegated thread makes you look closer at the quilt.
