    Default Foot Pedal! Ugh

I have smooth tile floors in my sewing room. My foot pedal will not stay put. I have tried every mat sold that is suppose to stay put. I have made every mat hack that is suppose to work. Other than gluing in place I'm at a loss. LOL

Have you tried a square of the waffle weave rubber shelf liner, or a piece of the material that they use under area rugs to keep them in place?

Yoga mats work well too. I cut an old one up have used it for years.
Also works: a dish mat...the kind meant to lay in the bottom of the kitchen sink.
And now I'm wondering if a bath mat would work. The kind one puts in the tub so they don't slip getting out...

I used some of the waffle weave shelve liner under my dog's food dish so he wouldn't push it all over the floor. It worked great!

Mine wouldn't stay put on carpet, so I finally put some hook velcro on the back. Mission Accomplished!
Perhaps put some loop velcro on your floor, and then the hook velcro on the foot pedal?

Yes, it means sticking it to the floor, but if/when you don't want it there, it will peel off and you can remove any of the gooey-residue with GooGone.

The waffle weave stuff ... skeptical about n it. Never tried it for sewing machine foot pedals, but doesn't seem to keep other things stable for me.

I've had great luck with the anti slip mat sold for use with routers.

Have you tried the car dashboard sticky mat for cellphones, etc.?
It's very sticky but doesn't leave any residue. I use it on my vinyl floor.
When it gets dirty you can just rinse it and it's good to go.
    It's like magic.

I was thinking command strips. They would peel off both surfaces clean. Command makes both velcro and double sided sticky strips, worth a shot. 🤔

I bought some double sided tape to secure Mom's box of Kleenex to her bedside table. Works like a charm. Very strong. Amazon purchase!
