    Default Fortrel

    Hi there!

I decided that I would like to make a quilt like my gramma used to make.

She use to make them out of this fabric called: "fortrel".

I'm just wondering if anyone knows where i can buy some? I'm in the Ottawa, ON area,

    thanks!

Fortrel is a trademark name for a polyester fabric and is manufactured in New Jersey.

She's right. They made really heavy warm...almost too warm quilts.

Back in the Day when polyester was "the" fabric, Fortrel was considered to be a good brand name , known for quality.
