    Default Found at Goodwill

I may have found a good bargain at Goodwill yesterday, in fact I'm sure I did. Stumbled across an early version of EQ7...the EQ5 for $3.88. Two books and the disc was in the box. Now I get to play with it, so I can decide if I really want the EQ7 or EQ8. Husband is still scratching is head as to why I'm doing the happy dance!

Wow, a really super find. I've had EQ5 for years and have never really found a need to upgrade. Congrats.

I enjoyed EQ5 for a few years. I am still learning to adjust from going to 5 to 7. The only reason I upgrade to 7 is all the online fabrics you can get on EQ website that they stopped allowing version 5 to access. With version 7, it is so much simpler to import fabric into your library. Just have fun and check out Rhoda's tutorials:

I think it's a great idea to play with EQ5 to get an idea of whether to purchase EQ7. Be aware that the user interface to the program was drastically overhauled with EQ6, so keep in mind that EQ7 will be much easier to use (and have more features) than EQ5.

Have you been able to load this on your computer? I thought the older versions of EQ were limited to how many machines they could be loaded on and if that particular copy had reached it's max you may not be able to load it successfully without paying an additional fee to EQ. I will be interested to hear.

Wow, what a super find. I know I have a copy of that there in the 4500 square foot space that me and the 4 cats occupy.

    Have fun

This is a P.S. to my above "reply" I went to the top of the page and typed in Rhonda's tutorials and scrolled down the page when it came up and there it was Rhonda's 23 pdf for the EQ lessons. Thanks maniacquilter 2 for posting the original reply.
