While my mom and I were going through stuff from her parents' house, we found an old quilt top that my grandma had done in the '50s, plus some old quilt squares and fabric from the same era. I'm going to use the old fabric and quilt squares to make a reversible quilt. It will have special meaning to both of us. Will post photos when I finish.

Looking forward to seeing your completed quilt. Always nice to find or have something made by family.

That sounds so nice. I wish I had something form my grandma on my dad's side. You will have something to treasure forever!
I look forward to see it when you get it done!

I teach history and I tell my students that if it happened during MY lifetime, it is definitely not history!
