Yesterday I went out with my mom looking for fabrics. After 3 shops I couldn't find anything I liked that I could afford. (can't do $8-$9 yd) I came home very disapointed. Today I went to Old Town Quilts in keller tx. All of their fabrics are $4.99yd. They were extremely friendly and helpful. I found the fabric I wanted (and could afford it) and the best part was they have a room where people bring in the scraps they don't want and you can take them for FREE!!! I came home very happy. They also have a website. You should check them out if you are in the area.

That's great! I also like the idea of recycling fabric that the shop does. Cool! :D

Love the idea of the scrap exchange. That would be fun.
