my dh and i went away for the weekend to celebrate our 39th anniversary. had a wonderful time. went to several flea markets and quilt shops in the lancaster / reading pa area. bought fabric and dh bought me an antique singer hand crank sewing machine. we went online and found it was made in 1910. "she" is in great condition with few attachments and coffin style case. she even has the original key to lock the case on with. i will add her to my collection: a featherweight, a singer 99, and a singer 301.

Congratulations on your anniversary! Sounds like you have a wonderful husband -- how nice of him to get the Singer for you. I'd love to have one.
