I was in Daytona beach this past week having a wonderful time at the beach and pool with my mom . Of course you have to check out local quilt shops while on vacation. I found a great one in Ormand Beach Florida,it has a wonderful selection of Batiks and Oriental fabrics. I don't think they had a single Batik I didn't like .I was so happy they have online shipping it would be a little far for me to go very often ,2100miles round trip.Needless to say I stocked up.If any one is interested their website is www.byrdsnestquiltshop.com.I am not associated with this shop in any way just a very happy customer.

The Byrds Nest Quilt Shop is getting a lot of attention lately. It is a great shop with friendly people. I try to go there whenever I am visiting family in Winter Springs, Fl.

I used to live in Palm Coast, FL. They have one there also by Byrd's nest and you will find another one also (think it is called sew and quilt?...been a while)...both are great!

Found Byrd's Nest near Daytona Beach. I bought some coffee fabric to add to my collection of coffee themed fabric for a future scrappy coffee quilt. I really can't remember which I have, so I just buy what I find that I like. So, thanks for the info!
