QuiltE, it looks like DeBooper's blocks were bordered in black first and then the white sashing strips with cornerstones were added last.

Thanks for sharing ... it's stunning!

    What size are your blocks?

Would like to see a pic of the original fabric, if that's possible?

    Please? and Thanks!

Oh my, I must say that is about the prettiest one I have seen lately. I just love the way you placed your blocks. Great job. I have one started but, another WIP, that is if I would work on it.

Here's one source. Just google it and you will get lots more, including on ebay.

    http://www.ericas.com/quilting/patterns/misc.htm

There is also the Stacked Posie Supreme on the same page. That's the one I did - same designer, same concept, different layout.

How do you find repeats in the fabric and does this require a special ruler?

On the selvedge edge, find a specific leaf/flower or whatever ... follow along til you find the exact same one there. Make sure it is the exact same design.

From point to point is your repeat.

There are very small repeats of minimal inches (think nothing prints) .... and the repeat pattern can be very spread out.
