I have a FOUR, yes FOUR day week over The Fourth and plan to sew as much as I can. Need to finish a birthday quilt and maybe even finish piecing a dresden fan top. Aren't able to entertain so I'm free to sew. And the rest of you guys....

Sat. the 3rd Dinner for honoring Veterens,(my Hubby is one) with fireworks and a concert in the park. 4th, family BBQ in our back yard then down to the park for another night of concert and fireworks, maybe I'll get to sew some on Monday the 5th. I really love having all the family here so I'll probably be too pooped to do much more than clean up.

I have all the in-laws descending upon my residence. There will probably be no sewing for me.

Have no clue what we will do. DH's PTSD can kick in when he hears the fireworks and smells the gun powder. Sometimes he's fine, other times he's not. We will see this year. Big celebration in a town about one hour from here next Friday and Saturday. I can only hope as I love the fireworks shows.

We will be in Rapid City SD visiting my son and his family. We will watch the fireworks from Mt. Rushmore from his back porch. It is so beautiful. I will stop at my favorite LQS and a great local fabric store while I am there. I will work on a quilt as you go project on the drive up and back.

So sorry to hear about you husband. This is something that happens to our vets that most of us don't understand. I hope you have a great holiday and thank him for his service for me.
