I absolutely love, love those decals, so very 20s/30s deco! I want fabric based on those decals.

You can go to these albums to find info on your Franklin (a badged White Rotary machine). I've found my Whites to be easy to work on, but the decals are fragile, so be careful with those.

Love those decals. I have never seen anything like them. It will clean up nicely, but as mentioned, with the paint already coming off the clear protective coating is likely gone or compromised.

beautiful machine...gold is really gold leaf and will come off easily... try WD40 (this IS a cleaner, folks, not a lubricant) in an out of the way place to test.... Old English would be my next choice....NO alcohol or any product containing alcohol, it will strip your gold, right off...

Bennett, my Franklin says Kenmore, do you know of a site where I can get more info on Her. I have the MAnual but don't give any info on the dates or anything like that. I want history if possible, thanks, Granny
