    Default Free Bargello Quilting Patterns

    Hi Everyone,

Ladibug here. I am new to this site and to quilting also. This weekend I saw Elenor Burns make a bargello crib quilt. I may be wrong but it looked easy. Easier than most other quilts I have seen made. I have looked online for free patterns ever since and have yet to come across any. I have "joined" a few sites as they promised free bargello quilt patterns and I have yet to find the first one. I really like the looks of this site here and this is the first time I have joined a forum on quilting. Ido belive that the more people there are the more ideas they all come up with. I would greatly appreciate any help with anything about quilting that you can give me. Have a wonderful evening all.

    Sincerely,

    Ladibug

I was never able to find any for free, but at QNNtv, there is a video that I saw...paid for membership, which is very reasonable and helpful:

Also, check your local library for needlepoint bargello.

If you write to Eleanor Burns at Quilt in a Day telling her your quest I am fairly sure she will provide you with the pattern or give you the website.

Once I wrote to Georgia Bonesteel and she sent me the pattern - I was flabbergasted to have a response, but these folks are just like us and are thrilled to hear from their fans. You were lucky to see Eleanor in person - she really is very talented and quite personable.

Forgot to say welcome aboard! Bargello is fairly easy as far as piecing goes, but it can get complex with colors and patterns.

I never thought about writing Elenor Burns but anything is worth a try. I have found the links you ladies have sent me and I actually found some designs I was looking for. It has been like looking for a needle in a hay stack trying to find anything and I do thank you all so very much!!!
