    Default Free Motion Couching Foot

    Hi all
I was given a Bernina Free Motion Couching foot for Christmas and finally got round to playing with it last night. I am having problems with it though can anyone advise? I have loaded it correctly and attached the thread feeder to the side of my machine. When I start of the cord is being couched - but when I swirl round and go back on myself it does not catch the cord. I have tried all sorts of cord and yarn. The only thing I can think of is the cord is too thin? Anyone got any suggestions.

Are you using a small zig zag stitch? I like to use that so if I'm off a little some of the stitch catches the fiber/yarn.

I've mostly seen it used with a fairly stiff cord. Practice will probably give you the experience needed. I have not used mine so good for you for doing it...lol.
