Ok, so my quilted sections got quilted in the ditch, now i finally have all my big sections joined together, now i'm free-motioning! :) I did mostly stitch in the ditch on this one, cus i only wanted to add a little free-motion, because this is my first free motion. Next quilt will have much more free-motion. Ok, so how's it going??? I'm loving it!!!!! :) Hubby bought me a darning foot few months ago, and that's what i'm using, and it's working great!!!
    Lessons i'm learning lol

If you stop the machine, make sure your needle is down! lol otherwise the quilt will just slide around if your stopped.

Someone said car wax works good, yes, next time for sure lol

Quilting gloves? heard mention of them, yup, will get some soon lol

Hi Barb. So glad you're having so much fun with your first experience. Did you mean to post a pic of the quilting to show us?

Oh i will try and take pictures tomorrow. I did real good doing a curvy chain cable, but when i tried some stippling, my thread kept breaking, think i was moving my fabric too quick, so taking a break and going to bed.
Alaska lady, i heard someone else on here say that if you put car wax on the bed of your machine, your quilt will slide around much easier
