Default Free shipping from Hancock's of Paducah

I found a batting that I wanted to order on the Hancock's of Paducah website. It was $17.99, but shipping was around $5. Then I found the same thing on Ebay for the same price, but free shipping, which I went ahead and bought. It wasn't obvious until after the order was completed that it came from Hancock's of Paducah! Interesting, no?

It does pay to shop around. I purchased some Kaffe Fassett fabrics on Amazon that came from fabric.com, but the price on Amazon was quite a bit less than on fabric.com's own site.

I have noticed that with connecting threads thread packs. On Amazon they are the same price as the site but with Prime I don't have to pay any shipping and they come a lot quicker.

Interesting. I buy on Ebay at times and the big push there is free shipping but funny that you got the same thing from the same place without the shipping. Good for you!!! I always shop around too.

The same is true for accuquilt dies. They supply/stock amazon, which gets to me in fewer days because their warehouse is in my state, and with Prime Membership there are no shipping cost.

Jane, I found the same thing! I was amazed at how much in shipping I could save by buying my dies from Amazon with my prime membership.

I wonder if it is because they are bigger and can absorb the shipping cost?
No clue, but I shop around, now....

I have seen this too and I have learned to look at Amazon and compare to Fabric.com to get the better deal

Another thing I do when shopping online at Hancock of Paducah is to put what I want in my shopping cart but don't purchase it. Handcock's will send me an email reminding me and later an email with a 10% discount if I make the purchase within a week.

Why not save 10% when it is so easy.

Amazon Prime is worth the membership fee....I ALWAYS check there first before buying from retail. Their market place is huge and selling on Amazon is a win win for retailers.

    I believe Amazon owns Fabric.com
