Free standing lace xmas ornaments

Thanks everyone.......all your information has helped me....I found a web site that shows all the steps...and I do have an embroidery machine so these look like there going to be easy....I just have to get my act in gear and hopefully get some done for xmas.....hugs to all....Trish

Hi
I have made over 50 some freestanding lace snowflakes this month, and a few ornaments.
I use fibrous water soluble stabilizer,two layers, and sulky emb thread in my bobbin and thread it. Slow your machine
down, I put my Elegante down to 350 speed.
Embroider the design. I dip the finished project in slightly hot water until the stabilizer dissolves, pat it dry, and I put
it on wax paper to dry. Then I iron it, as they sometimes dry not flat.
I am spraying them with silver spray glitter for sparkle, just gorgeous!
I got my snowflakes from embroidery ibrary.
