    I recently made a French Roses. The FatCat one is close. The French Roses pattern uses slightly more varied shaped flower layers so you really can get a variety of different looking roses. All in all the differences are not much. Good luck! Either pattern, the construction is the same...and it's somewhat time consuming, but easy to do.

    I've seen the pattern in a quilt magazine, I think Fons and Porter. I'll have to look for it. How to make the pattern is free, the actual pattern is not.
