Another vote for the left side. I love how it gives a scalloped look.

Your quilt is gorgeous! I like the left side best, too. But it's your quilt; you can do what you like best.

Wow, great quilt. Ya, I would turn the right border around.

I really like the left side. I would un sew the right side and get it the way you want it.

    This is a stunning quilt.

Ok....I'll take that out and turn it around. I think your suggestions that I'll always regret not doing it "right" is correct. About 2/3 of the way of sewing that on, it dawned on me that it was not what the instructions said.

Thanks to everyone for your comments. They mean a lot to me.

Please invest a little bit of time to change the border. You won't be sorry. To miter the corners will add a very special finish.

I like the left also, but you should do what your eye says. I love the pattern and colors.

Definitely do the orientation of the left side, with the dark outer edge. I don't know what binding color you have selected, but I assume it's dark as well. Gorgeous quilt!

The top and bottom are the same and the corners mitered.
Now, I like the left border better than the right, but I just went to look for the kit, and at least on Keepsake's site, the image of the layout shows the right border to be correct, so you didn't do it wrong.

I do prefer the one on the left, though :-)
