My sewing room is also my bedroom, it's large, and yes I do have a frig and a microwave as well as my king size long-arm.

I don't think I've ever thought about putting a frig or microwave in my sewing room. Might have considered it at 1 point but don't think I would now. I usually carry a bottle of water with me. I'd snack too much if I had cokes or munchies in there. Trying to lose some weight and clomping up and down the stairs is part of my exercise plan. LOL.

No, I do have one of those coffee keep it warmer plates though....it doesn't work that well. When I want something to eat or drink, it is usually time to get up and walk around anyway.

No I do not. It would be to tempting. Plus the exercise to the kitchen is good. But then again, my kitchen is about 5 feet from my sewing room.

I have a small frig in my studio that is in a detatched barn shaped garage up on the second floor. Sure saves a lot of running back into the house.

That is a great idea, unfortunately I don't have the space.

Good morning Central Ohio: Yes, I have a microwave and a small fridge and cable television and internet set up in my bedroom -- which is my sewing room. When I need to iron small quilt pieces, I do that on the back side of the table I have my sewing machine set up on. I love having things close and available. Totally love being able to call this area MINE.

When my workshop/studio building is finished, it will contain a very small kitchen with a rv gas stove and a small refrigerator. After all a girl has to keep her strength up while sewing. I really don't do the microwave thing, I am more of a toaster oven user.

small dorm size refrigerator, yes. Microwave, no. I plan to get an electric cup "warmer" for hot tea/cappacino though.
