Have you seen the book "Friendship Strips & Scraps" by Edyta Sitar? It has gorgeous quilts and patterns. You can preview it at Connecting Threads and see many of the patterns. Our LQS made one of the quilts from the book and it is just beautiful. The lady who made it said it was fairly simple to make!

BTW, Connecting Threads has a 40% off sale on books right now. I know, I'm tempting you!

and that's not nice! We quilter's don't seem to have much will power. At least not with fabrics, books-maybe!

I just got that book in the mail today. The quilts in it are beautiful! She combines batiks and regular fabrics for a wonderful look.

Isn't it great? It's the best book I've found in quite awhile.

I can usually resist quilt books because I have so many, but not that one.

I joined Crafters Choice book club and it was one of the selections I chose. It had wonderful reviews. I hope to sit down and look at it soon.
