I don't use batiks as a rule, but am curious if anyone here has had this problem or could it have been this particular batik. I didn't test it on the batik before I marked the whole quilt---my bad.
Happens from time to time on frabric - especially darker ones..........NO BIG DEAL.....the light lines will disappear when washed, and if you do not wash your quilts, will disappear with a little water spritzed on the line............

The lines WILL come back when cold UNTIL the piece has been washed..........I have used these since they came out...and have never had a time when the line failed to disappear with either spritzing or washing...

Sharon Schamber, Masterquilter, every quilt an award winner, uses the Frixon pens on her masterpieces. That's good enough endorcement for me.

Someone recently posted that steam took her marks out. Good luck.
I tried on a sample and the lines came back when the fabric got cold. But they disappeared after the wash and didn't come back.

I've never had a problem with my frixion pens, but I'm usually using them to mark things on the wrong side of the fabric.
