I also prefer without sashing but you might want to separate the screaming stripes from being next to one another. You have enough of the softer ones to separate them. You are doing a great job !!

All I can say about this one is I LOVE IT!!! And I would not put sashing on them. It would stop the motion in the quilt.

I did find it was easier for me to sew the pieces one to the other and not sew 3 together then sew the two halves. I could not get my centers to match.
One tip I found that I squared off the tip of each piece(using my 60 degree ruler.) and stopped sewing about 1/4 inch from the end. After all were sewn together I went back and sewed the tips together.

I agree with Dunster! Love your avatar. Is that a Collie or Sheltie? Sweet little dog!

Adding sashing would make this a completely different quilt. You will have to lay it out with sashing to see which you like the best. Nice work!!

Absolutely, Dunster! And the blocks have an interesting secondary pattern where their edges meet, as they form diamonds.
Sashing is meant to separate, divide, hold apart. I feel that's contrary to what this design needs to be its best.
It looks really wonderful as it is now!

You are going to have an even more difficult decision as I prefer sashing in black.
