Hi. Our quilt guild recently used your little prayer quilt in our Sampler Store. I had squares made from oriental fabrics sitting in a box too beautiful to discard, but not working as I would have liked for a quilt. They did work, however, for your little prayer quilts. The volunteers in the booth said every person who picked up a little quilt and read the poem purchased one. I write to share with you a slightly revised version of your prayer. Obviously, it is still your prayer, but with slight revision to wording and some punctuation I turned it into a poem that flows. God has given me a gift as He has you, and I like to think this coming together of your skill and my own is made in heaven. This is for you from someone who benefitted and saw others benefit from your inspiration. Use it or not; I just wanted to contribute to the excellence of your effort. Thank you so very much.
    Poem:
    I'm a small prayer quilt
    to hold in your hand,
    A friend when you're troubled
    by events not planned.

Hold me tight in your fist
if it helps calm your fears,
    And use me when needed
    to wipe away tears.

I love your prayer quilt and your poem is very calming. I plan to make some of the quilts to share with others. Thank you for letting us reproduce your poem, however, I will be glad to give you credit on the card if you will PM me your name.

What a wonderful idea! I lead our church quilting ministry. Many times people have minor illnesses and don't receive our lap quilts. Sometime family members need our prayers as they watch over their loved ones. This hand quilt and both prayer messages, are just what we need for people who need to be remembered during stressful times. Thank you for sharing.
