Ha! Poor guy!
This reminded me of something I saw when I was in Houston last week. They had temporarily turned all the men's restrooms into women's bathrooms. I went into one and there was a woman standing at the urinal, trying to figure how to turn it on so she could wash her hands. That was pretty funny!

My DH has gone to one or two quilt shows with me, and I would not enjoy the grumbling that would result from him going through something like this. At very least they could have posted a large sign near the restrooms informing the fellas where to find one. I always see a fair number of guys at quilt shows. They're outnumbered, but we certainly don't want to discourage them from going.
Peckish's tale about the hand washing attempt made me LOL.

Once, when serving as a sponsor for a youth group trip, we commandeered the men's room at the popular fast-food restaurant we'd stopped in... only for a few minutes though...
Fellow quilters... we need to raise up some female architects!!! When my colleagues and I (all females) were designing our new science lab/wing (prior to my retirement) we finally got to meet with a woman who quickly said... "hey, there's no teacher's bath room in this new design!?" We replied, "yes, we know..." She drew one in and it's lovely!!!

Yes, that was a problem for several men at the show. However, we female attendees were delighted that there were very short, if any, wait lines for us. Sorry guys, but I think it is an excellent idea. PIQF was an excellent show.

Too funny! I have been to shows where they covered the "MEN" signs with "WOMEN" signs and turned all the restrooms into women's restrooms. I thought it was justice. How many sporting events have you been to where the guys are in and out of the restrooms in minutes while the women stand in line for 30 minutes or more? lol
