I use craft fuse on my fabric then I add the fusible fleece on top of that. It gives my fabric a little more stability. Don't usually have any problems with the fusible fleece. They have 2 thicknesses, which one do you use?

you have to have your iron really hoy and you have to hold it in place for what seems like too long, don't slide the iron around just press in one spot, then move to another, it is hard to deal with

did you wash your fabric first?

you need to wash out all the additives from the fabric first and then the fusible fleece will work better.

also says to use a damn cloth ... I just have the iron hot as it will go and hit the steam .. on the fabric side that is ;)

so far I havent had any hassles but its a heck of a lot more expensive here in Australia

I tried the wool setting, leaving it on a loooong time, using steam, sprayed the fabric for more steam... and it still came loose in big areas and caused puckers...

i find that using water or steam in any way with this product leads to puckers.

i use a very hot setting and press, i hold the iron there for a few sections, and then i lift the iron and move to the next section, i make sure that there is overlapping of sections when pressing with the iron.

I feel your pain! I have used it to make tote bags and found that no matter what setting the iron is on, it still came off. I even got so frustrated that I peeled it off and used the heat n bond and batting. I will look into the spray and batting and see if that's better.

This is how I do it. I have never had a problem with the fleece. Are you sure you are putting the fleece down first with the fusible side facing you and then laying your fabric on top of it and ironing it? You can't iron on the back side of the fleece, it won't stick. HTH
