fyi: Steam a Seam Letter from The Warm Co.
I Love the Warm Company products. As a previous wholesale cutomer I received the following email. Didn't want you to be caught unawares.
The email won't let me copy and paste here but in essence it says they are pulling their Steam a Seam products and canceling all orders.
Problem is the original waxy paper product can no longer be supplied to them so they had thought they worked out another solution. [Went into production and are not happy with the results.] The company has decided to completely stop production until they can come out with a better release product.
I saw the new Steam a Seam2 at our LQS last week. The release paper is the problem, not the fusible.
If your LQS runs out this is the reason.
Jennifer: Organized only in my dreams.

I use quite a bit of Steam a Seam... I hope they find a suitable release paper very soon. I did notice my most recent purchase, the paper did seem to tear of in bits rather than bigger pieces like it had in the past. It also seemed to come away from the release paper prior to use.
Thanks for the info! Much appreciated.

I bought the Pellon and didn't like that either. The one side is paper, peel that off, the other side you iron on is a plastic so it's hard to draw on. Pencil didn't work and my pen didn't either. Looking for something else too. I really liked the Steam a seam.
