Garden Party Quilt

Hi all

is anyone working on the Garden Party Quilt from Quiltmaker May/June 2015?

if you are, have you used another color (other than red) in the alternate blocks?

I think you could use any color that will catch the eye, because you want those diagonal squares to pop. The color you choose will probably depend on the rest of your fabrics.
