Default Gemstone Pattern--Has Anyone Tried this and Finished?

Need encouragement. I am flagging. Whew! This one is a piecing doozy. Would rather PP 10 Mariner's Compasses than do another one of these. Guess I will be doing another one because in order to get the "perfect" fabrics, (because I was too cheap to buy the $500 kit), I ended up with enough for two! Silly me, but at least they were all on sale. One is more masculine so my brother will get one and the other fabrics are more feminine so one for my niece. But that will come much later. Just want to be done with the first!!!

Is that the one by a wing and a prayer? It does seem quite complicated.

Maybe you could use the extra fabric for another pattern. That's assuming it isn't already cut.

I'm actually months behind on this one! After the first couple of blocks, it becomes less intimidating. I just hope mine all matches up when I get back to it and finish! Lol
