My WM has the $5 bolts and I check every time I'm there for something I could use. (I food shop there and save a TON of money) So far the fabrics are either knits or ugly colors. Maybe I'm just picky??????

Going tomorrow for groceries and I'll look again. (BTW - - the SWEETEST ladies work in that department.)

Was at our WM yesterday and tehy had a huge bin of bolts fabric. I would not have given you a plug nickel for any of it.
Guess some of you are more lucky to be getting better fabric on these bolts than here.

great decision of the day-I'm on my way to Walmat this afternoon. Already got 5 yds of Hallowen material at different Walmart but was only 50% off. He bought this for me. He's at work so I have 3 hrs to shop--for material. It's going to be a long winter.

Our walmart has the same deal. They have some really nice thin flannel that I keep drooling over! Might have to make a cozy quilt for the puppies! :-)

I picked up a bolt of light weight cotton flower printed. made a nice pair of lightweight pjs, and I have enough left to make a sundress, my Walmart didn't have anything else that caught my eye but MDIL picked up 6 or 7 bolts of clothing fabric , she used some of it for Halloween costumes. they went as a family of Pirates this year. She says next year they'll be the VonTrapp family.. LOL

You make puppy quilts? So do I. Most go some well deserving friend's puppies and some go to our animal shelter. Helps a good cause and uses up scraps, old towels for linings or anything else . I also make coats from fleece. I'm working on some P.Js for my dog. He's like a pupsicycle (always cold). I got some blue w/white sheep and some leopard. Got the patterns at Walmart (Simplicity's Woofy Wear by Wendy-
    comes in several sizes)
