    joanns have the templates that have various sizes for the twister by cutting in the slits starting
    at size 3 1/2

    I have the smaller one, it is fun to use for the charm fabrics. But to really use up some stash, it probably would be more practical to have the bigger one to make quilts instead of the smaller one that I have used for making wall hangings or table runners.

    In one of my post, I give the instruction to make a twister template and it's so much easier to use just the one patch, rather than sewing four pieces together and then cutting, so much wasted fabric.

    why not get both? the smaller one is perfect to make twisters out of the leftovers from the large template. this means almost no waste & great borders (or a second quilt)
