I have a quilt set aside right now because two blocks are missing. They are cut out and pinned together but disapered
Now I can't finish until I find them.

I remember I had a brand new white dress with dots of blue and red throughout. I hung it on the door because I was planning to wear it to a mother-daughter tea my classroom was having (I was the teacher) the next day. When I went to get it there was a triangle about 6-8 inches big out of the bottom of the back of it. Our dog was a Samoyed/Shephard and White Collie mix. Several days later I found the missing piece mixed in with his poop in the back yard. No, I didn't sew it back in. I cut the dress hem evenly and added a solid navy blue border on the bottom so the dress was at least useful.

fmhall: That is the funniest thing I ever heard of. Is the big dog banned from your sewing space now?

HAHAHA!!! Oh man. That's a funny story...and yeah, I wouldn't have tried to salvage that triangle either! I have 3 dogs so I really relate, lol.

I sent a new friend, from this board, four samples of fabrics to use in "Cottage Romance." I have found three of the four I sent, do you think I could find the fourth? I have torn my sewing room apart and am about to resume the search this morning. There are ghosts everywhere. Of course I have an out, I can ask my friend to send me a picture of the fabric she would like and that would be way too easy. Oh no, I have to find it by making a total mess of my stash. Think I'll go play with my mental blocks.

Do you have a kitty that like to play with the blocks?

This Quilting Board is addictive!!! I love it. I laughed so hard this morning at all the 'disappearing' things in sew rooms.
I do believe the ghost is probably related to my Hawaiian Menehune!
