Karen of Just Get it Done Quilts has posted a list of gift ideas for quilter at https://www.justgetitdonequilts.com/...-quilters-2020. The books about color really interest me.

A lot of blogs/sites do this, but folks need to realize the main reason for these lists (on any site) is not to recommend things but to make money off clicks.

Just be aware all the items in her list are affiliate links, meaning clicking on them and purchasing something at the resulting site earns her money.

I don't do much custom quilting, but.......I would like the Quilted Pineapple's rulers for the longarm. VERY pricey and I would not use them enough to justify the price. Some people on the board do very beautiful custom work, like Dunster and a lady I've been wondering about. She hasn't been on here in a long time and I can't think of her name. I think she's in New York and she does mainly custom and in the past she has done a few Asian quilts. One was for her mother in Las Vegas, maybe, and it was circles. Anyone know who I'm talking about and have you heard from her?

I bought a Yazzi bag, a nice size one, for a travel make up bag. This was before they became popular sewing bags and much less expensive. I have washed it in the washing machine many times after make up messes. It's the pretty blue color with no fading at all. The zippers all work and the vinyl pockets have no cracks. I use it for my hand sewing bag now. It's worth the price if anyone is thinking about getting one. At least the older ones were.

I know there are others - but she's the only one I can think of at the moment.
