I would love having a quilted gift from another quilter and give a quilted gift in return.

I am very giving and always passing along items to others, especially on this board. I find it is nice to share and if I can make someone happy that is very rewarding for me.

I have received a digitized pattern from a lady in the UK, as well as information on her town, and a knitting book to make the royal family that was really special for me - made my day.

I make pin cushions to give to my quilting friends. All of us quilters and sewers love colorful and different pin cushions. I filled them with ground walnut shells. My favorite and the easiest to make is log cabin with 1" strips.

I always get given lovely tools that they think I might like (and I always do). I get them from non quilters as well and then I use the tool to make a quilt.
One friend gave me tons of batting which I'm still using. I think she got it cheaply from America and intended to use it herself but never got around to it. It was and is a wonderful gift.

One of my best friends was a quilter and very generous. She never made a quilt for himself. I made one for her.

In a Christmas exchange, I received a beautiful table runner from a quilting friend. She knew that I had a long cocktail table and she made it specifically for that.

She is a PPer and had been trying to get me interested in paper piecing for quite some time.......this did the trick.

She PPed our family name across the entire runner in all holiday shades of red and green.

It was beautiful and greatly appreciated.
