Give me the Stupid Award for the day!!!!
I am almost done with SID on this twin sized block of the month quilt...and, what do I discover? I forgot to use my walking foot!!! No wonder I have been so unhappy with that I have done. Phooey!!
I think I am done with quilting for the day. I am not going to redo any of this quilting. I don't love the quilt that much, and it isn't a gift for anyone. I just was doing a Block of the Month to teach myself patience. It didn't work....
Okay, here is a picture so you can sympathize with me.... I know it is going to be okay, but I sure wanted it to be more than "just OK." ...Actually the puckers don't show up so much in the picture, but you can tell that my quilt inspector, Hot Rod, sees them!

It looks pretty good to me! Remember that when we are looking at it while it is under our needle, we are only about 10 inches from it. Once you finish it and use it, any imperfections will disappear.
I do hate when I do something dumb - so you are not alone!! LOL

I've put my walking foot on but forgotten to put the arm on the bar. You know the foot really doesn't "walk" well like that. I kept increasing my stitch length and increasing and increasing. I wish I could say this has only happened once too.
